Hey Roger,
With your original being 11-3/4" and this new kit, # APT6SE, being 12", 1/8" on each side is not going to make a difference large enough for this to not work. The shackle straps and leaf springs will make up for that difference in length and work just fine.
Are you looking to replace the leaf springs and shackles and bolts as well?

Hey Roger, Did the 12" hanger kit work out for your trailer setup? I'm curious to know if everything fit well, as it could help others in a similar situation.
