Question:

Hi, I was looking at the Curt TriFlex NEXT Trailer Contoller for a Ford f150 2020. Will you please confirm that it will include the harness needed to connect to the Ford connector? The vehicle has a hitch but not the controller. Also is there any programming required with the installation of this controller like with the OEM controller? Thank you

Hello John, thanks for reaching out. The Curt TriFlex NEXT # C92GV is what you will need for your 2020 Ford F-150. This comes with the custom pigtail for hooking the controller up to the OEM brake control plug.

Please note that some models will not have power run to the brake control port under the dash. In these cases you will need to use the Power Wire Kit for Electric Trailer Brake Controllers # BRK-ELECKIT to run power to the plug.

Based on what we have experienced here at our shop, you should not have to have the computer flashed when installing a brake controller on a 2020 F150.
