Will Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver 15809 Fit M923 Army Truck

Question:
I have an army truck M923 with 34” frame width outside to outside, looking for a Class V hitch with maximum to the receiver that will fit that frame. I’ve done as much homework as I can, and was hoping you would confirm a few things about the C15809: 1. The overall width of the hitch/compatibility with a 34” frame 2. On center spacing between frame mounting bolt holes in width 3. The distance from the top of the frame mounting flange to the top of the receiver tube Thanks a million!

Hi Tom; the Curt # C15809 is designed to fit certain models of the Ram 1500/2500/3500 pickup truck. Also, the bolt holes are approximately 39-1/2" apart on center so it wouldn't work with your 34" frame. What you need for your application is a universal weld-on hitch like the Draw-Tite Ultra Frame Service Body Trailer Hitch Receiver # 41990-16. This fits frames up to 44" wide and comes with 16" brackets.
