Recommended B&W Tow and Stow for a 2020 Ram 2500

Hello, I have a 2020 Ram 2500 and need to determine if I need a 4 or 7 hitch. Im looking at the BandW triple ball. My truck has stock suspension but is on 35s. I tow a range of trailers, but mostly a 14 foot aluminum flat bed. Any advice would be appreciated!

Hey Phillip, welcome back. It looks like the top of the receiver with the stock tires is 23-1/4" above the ground on your 2020 Ram 2500. You can confirm this by measuring from the ground to the top inside edge of your trailer hitch receiver. If that's accurate this would put the base of the hitch ball right at 16-1/4" if you go with the 7" Drop B&W Tow & Stow 3-Ball Mount item # BWTS20049B.
You're going to be pretty short if you go with the 4-1/2" Drop B&W Tow & Stow item # BWTS20048B. I recommend going with the 7" drop item # BWTS20049B.
How far off of the ground is the top edge of the inside of your receiver?

Hi Jerred, thank you for the reply. My hitch measures 25" and my trailer tongue is around 18" (+/- 1") at nominal towing position, so I'll definitely be going with the 7" drop. Thanks again!
