Roof Rack for 2024 Mazda CX-5 with Naked Roof

Updated 09/26/2025 | Published 05/02/2025

Question:

I have a 2024 Mazda cx5. I’m a little confused by the term “flush mounted rails”. The vehicle has four threaded holes in each side, covered by a trim piece that sits flush with the roof. Could you please confirm that this is the correct product for me? Inno Aero Roof Rack for Fixed Mounting Points - Aluminum - Black - Qty 2 Part Number: IN74WR Thanks

Hey Kody, thank you for the picture of your roof setup. Based on seeing that you would need a naked roof style roof rack from Inno which we have with the part # IN95PR. It is odd that you have what looks like factory fixed points but that type of fixed point is not one we have a roof rack for.

Hey Kody, did the naked roof style roof rack from Inno work out for your Mazda CX-5? I'm curious to know how it fit, as it could help others with similar setups.

@JamesonC A perfect fit to the vehicle. Great instructions and always great etrailer customer service. On the Mazda side, the removable cover is a little tough to get properly seated after modifying. On the Inno side, the rubber track inserts with the hatch pattern did not fit very well and some are on the highway now. The open track whistles. My wife ordered some replacements thinking originals were deformed but the new ones have the same loose fit, so duct tape it is unless you have some other suggestion. Sorry you asked?
