Is Flashing Or Reprogramming Required For Curt C45FV On 2025 Mazda CX5?

Question:
The dealership where I bought my 2025 madza cx5 is telling me I would have to replace some fuses and have the car computer reprogrammed at a cost of $340 if I install the curt wiring harness?

Hey there Moyer, that's a great question, but I don't know why your dealer was telling you that. The Curt T-Connector Vehicle Wiring Harness # C45FV does not require flashing or reprogramming after installation, and we haven't had any customers come back and say they needed to do so. You can see in the installation video I linked below, the process is straight forward and plug and play, without any cutting or modification to your OEM wiring.
