Question:
Hi, I just bought a 2010 Ford Escape and looking to fit a San Hima Hotham roof top tent 163lbs on it. I’ve been informed that both the stock cross bars and raised rails have a load capacity of 100 lbs and won’t do the job securely. What solutions are there for raising the load capacity of this vehicle? Your help is greatly appreciated!

Hey Adam. There's no roof rack available that is going to increase your 2010 Ford Escape's roof rack capacity. I checked your owner's manual and verified the information you gave me and you are correct it has a 100 lbs capacity.
The only solution I have for you is to mount your San Hima Hotham roof top tent on the Malone MicroSportXT Trailer - 78" Crossbars item # MPG460XT.
