Replacement for CCI Controls Propane Gas Detector

Question:
Hi, I have a 2005 Chalet Aspen a-frame trailer with a CCI Controls LP gas leak detector it says pre tell 26 on the bottom left of the front plate. I want to replace it as its old and is beeping randomly. Can you please point me to a compatible replacement? Thanks, Sarah

Hey Sarah! For a replacement you can use the RV Propane Gas Detector # RS44FR you were looking at. This has a 2-wire design and runs on 12V power just like your old detector. It also has a 7-1/4" long x 3-3/8" wide mounting plate so it will cover the opening from the existing leak detector.
