Question:
What is the difference between the GE54RR and the GE44RR? I want to confirm that they are also both able to be wired to 12V DC, not just AC. Also, how many watts does each unit pull at avg and max? Thank you.

Hello Adam, thanks for reaching out. The main difference between the # GE54RR and the # GE44RR is the color of the AC unit and thermostat.
The # GE54RR comes with a white AC and thermostat, while the # GE44RR comes with both parts in black. Both will work with 12v DC power. I believe the white unit is listed as slightly wider than the black unit at 27-11/16 wide versus 26-1/8" wide.
We have not installed and tested one of these GE units here yet so I am afraid I cannot give you specific numbers for the amperage just yet. I can tell you the 13,500 BTU AC is rated for a 20-amp circuit breaker so it shouldn't be more than that.
Let me know if there is anything else I can do to help.
