Question:
I have a 2016 highlander LE Plus. I need to tow a 7pin pop up tent with brakes. I currently do not have the electrical connections or the tow hitch. What do I need to buy? Could you provide a list of the parts I need to buy from your website? I can install all. Please include compatible brake controller, hitch, wiring, etc. Thank you

Hey Edgar, lets start with a hitch for your 16 Highlander. For that the Curt part # C13394 would be your best option. Its got great towing capacities and also is mostly hidden since only the hitch opening hangs below the rear bumper.
Then for the wiring and brake controller the Tekonsha Voyager ID part # TK26BR would be a really great option that only puts a small knob on your dash. To wire it in you'd need to first start with a 4-way like the part # 118449 which is a confirmed fit and then convert that to a 7-way with the part # ETBC7 which also comes all of the needed components to wire in a brake controller as well.
