How Fast Can I Drive on the Highway w/ the CE Smith Multi Sport Boat and Kayak Trailer?

I like this trailer versus the other C E Smith trailer because the trailer weight is about 200 lbs less.... That is important to me. What is the recommended travel distance with this trailer? We do journeys of 600+ miles. What would be recommended to accommodate this without adding a lot of additional weight? Does it handle interstate speeds 65-70 MPH Thanks!

Hey Jim! There's no travel restrictions as far as mileage goes on the CE Smith Multi Sport Boat and Kayak Trailer item # CE48810. It is equipped with 4.80/4.00-8 bias ply tires that are rated for a maximum speed of 65 mph. You won't have any problems at all with taking this trailer on long trips on the highway.
For a matching spare tire and wheel you can use the Loadstar 4.80-12 Bias Trailer Tire with 12" Galvanized Wheel item # AM30670. To attach the tire to your trailer the CE Smith Spare Tire Carrier for Trailers item # CE22011Z-11050-2.
