Hey Sandy,

Inside wear on the tires is definitely an indication of a loss of camber. That along with what I think you're referring to as a decrease in wheel well clearance tells me that it's probably indeed time to replace those Torflex axles. Also, typical/normal deflection of a 3,500 Torflex axle is within 10 degrees from its original build angle. Anything greater than that and that's strike 3.

The only other possible cause of these symptoms would be overloading the capacity of those axles, so make sure you're staying within the weight limits of your Rockwood.

Do you know old the camper is? Typical lifespan of these axles is around 10-12 years, but that can be shorter depending on how much fun you've had with the trailer. Unfortunately we don't carry Torflex axles right now, so if you're wanting to go with a direct replacement, your best bet is to reach out to Dexter directly.

Hey Sandy, did you find a solution for your axle issue with the Rockwood? I'm curious to know if reaching out to Dexter helped, as it could give others confidence when dealing with similar axle problems.

@SandyS Welcome back, Sandy! That's great to hear (even though it's probably not what you wanted to do). The Furrion units are great. Are you replacing an existing system? I'd be glad to help you out!
