Question:

I need a full replacement power awning for my Cougar xlite 5th wheel model 28sgs. The old awning was 10 wide center of mounting to center of mounting. Do you sell a full replacement?

Expert Reply:

The full kits we sell like the # LC56AF you looked at start at 11' wide. You could use this or the black version # LCV000334909-362243 if you have the space and would like the XL awning with the 9'8" projection. These arms require 78" of space on the wall from the awning rail straight down for each bracket. It also requires at least 4-1/2" of clearance between the awning rail and the top of your entry door. If you also need to replace the awning rail extrusion you can use # LC715216 or # LC715217.

If you want to stick with the 10' we can easily piece one together. You can choose from the following:

All of these arms will require 69" of space. The first set of arms are just your basic power arms. The second set are the smart arms which come with a built-in touchpad and let you add additional functionality with the LED Light Kit # LC674282, Wind Sensor # LC715123, and Infrared Security Sensor # LC715124. The awning fabric options are all 10' wide with a standard 8' projection so it is just a matter of choosing the color you want.
