Cushioned Equalizer Recommendation to Replace Dexter 13-122

Question:

Please recommend leaf spring equalizers and upgraded shackles and bolts for 2025 Alliance Delta 252RL travel trailer. Current Dexter equalizer is 13-122 which is technically 7.75inch center bolt to center bolt. Tandem wheel base is 35 GVWR is 8450 lbs. Thanks

Hey Gene, for the Dexter equalizer you have now 13-122 the correct cushioned equalizer upgrade you'd want is the EZ Flex part # K71-653-00. This kit also comes with upgraded shackles and wet bolts that have built in grease fittings so basically it comes with everything you'd need.

Which camper do you have? Does it ride rough currently?

Thank you for your response to my suspension upgrade question re Alliance Delta 252RL. You pointed me to the Dexter EZ-Flex cushioned equalizer. Thank you. I was rather hoping that there is a Morryde CRE-3000 solution that will work just as well. Is there not a Morryde upgrade for this rv unit? Thank you.

@GeneH We have the MORryde Alltrek 3000 part # MR29DR that would fit and work great. I really like these as they offer vertical and horizontal cushioning.
