Can TorkLift GlowStep Camper Scissor Steps Be Left On Camper During Travel?

Question:
Are these safe to stay on for travel or do they need to be removed? I don’t have the mounting space for the stow and go.

Hello Thomas, thanks for reaching out. It is recommended to remove the TorkLift GlowStep Camper Scissor Steps # TL86UR and store them during travel. I have seen people leave them on, but if you do this you will need to come up with a way to secure the step and stop it from opening. I have seen people do this with a rope or bungee cord and it works fine. Otherwise the best bet is to just remove them. Keeping them out of the elements will help them last longer.
