Question:

I have a 2018 solitude 373fb w/ 7k axles. I would like to convert the drums to disc. What kit will I need? My TV is a 2019 gmc sierra 3500hd denali, Im hoping the oem braking system on the truck will work. Please advise. Thanks

Hello Anthony, thanks for reaching out. We do have the parts you need to convert your 7K axles to disc brakes. Here is what I recommend:

- DeeMaxx Disc Brake Kit - 13" Hub/Rotor - 8 on 6-1/2 - Maxx Coating - 9/16" Bolts - 7K # DE68YR

- Hydrastar Marine Electric Over Hydraulic Actuator w/ Breakaway and 7-Way RV Harness - 1,600 psi # HS381-9067

- Kodiak Hydraulic Brake Line Kit - Tandem Axle - 20' # 20TA-BLKIT

A few things to note. The brake line kit I recommended has a 20' main brake line so I do ask that you verify this is the correct length for your trailer.

Also, there is a chance the OEM brake controller in your GMC Sierra may not be compatible with electric over hydraulic brakes. GMC/Chevy factory controllers are notorious for having issues. It may have an EOH mode you have to switch to, but it may not. If not, your best option will be to replace it with an aftermarket controller like the Tekonsha P3 # 90195 which has an EOH mode.
