Do I Set Up a Weight Distribution System Before or After the Factory Self-Leveling Function

Question:
Hello I have a 2016 Ram 1500 with factory equipped self leveling air suspension, and Im planning on pulling a 5000lb trailer for 10-12 hours with a weight distribution hitch as recommended. How would I setup my WDH if the vehicle has self leveling airbags?

Hey Allen! You'll want to either hook up your trailer and let the self-leveling do its thing then set up your weight distribution system or just turn the self-leveling completely off.
If you need a weight distribution system, I recommend the Blue Ox SwayPro item # BXW0750. It has a 550 lbs - 750 lbs tongue weight range which will be perfect for your 5,000 lbs trailer.
