Can Furrion Chill Cube be Used on RV that Has 30 Amp Power

Question:

Can this furrion chill 18k btu ducted, be installed on a 30amp coach? Will there be any power issues? I have a Coleman 13,5k now with a EasyTouch thermostat.

Hey Steve, yes the Furrion Chill Cube part # FR69TD will work great installed on a 30 amp coach. Due to the advanced way this system powers on it doesn't draw nearly as much on startup as other systems so it doesn't have that massive spike in power consumption that requires a lot of amperage like other units. This has a capacitor that helps absorb some of the power draw (like a supplemental battery) and also the internal components all stagger as they come on so that there isn't a big draw of everything trying to turn on at once.
