Will The HitchMate Cargo Stabilizer Bar Work With A Retrax Tonneau Cover On The Bed?

Question:
Will this work if I have a rolling Retrax cover on my bed? I’m concerned a spread might impact the cover getting loose side-to-side. - 2023 Chevy Silverado 1500

Hello Scott, thanks for reaching out. The HitchMate Cargo Stabilizer Bar # HE4016-4017 can absolutely be used along with a tonneau cover. True the bar does push on the sides of the bed, but you would not be cranking that thing down nearly hard enough to bend the sides of the bed out and affect fitment of your tonneau cover.
