I wanted to jump on this for my 2025 TX 500h sport, does the kick sensor need to be disabled?

Hey Le, thanks for reaching out!

The etrailer # e67MV and Curt # C26VV hitches that fit your 2025 Lexus TX 500h Sport will likely get in the way of the kick sensor. You won't need to disable it, but you might need to kick with a back-and-forth motion instead of a swiping motion in order to get them to pick up the movement of your foot.

We've gotten mixed reviews on whether or not the kick sensor will actually still work with a hitch installed, but you at least know you won't need to disable it.

What do you plan on using the hitch for?
