SumoSprings Recommendation for 2023 Chevy Silverado 2500

Question:

I have a 2023 Chevy 2500 and a toy hauler with a dry weight of 8,000lbs, gvwr of 11,500lbs, and a tongue weight rating of 1,400lbs. I am considering getting sumosprings for the truck rear axle and later on possibly sumo springs for the trailer. What are your recommendations for which ones to purchase?

Hey Dan, for your 2023 Chevy Silverado 2500 the SumoSprings kit part # SSR-203-40-2 would be your best option as they have the best capacity to match what you'll be towing. I also really like that they are two piece. Are you wanting a recommendation for trailer Sumosprings too?

Yes, what are your recommendations for my tandem axle trailer. The springs are over the axles.

@DanH Since your springs are over the axle and based on the weight of your trailer the correct SumoSpring kit you'd want is the part # SS26MV. You'd need two of these since you have a tandem axle trailer.
