Can Bikes with Fenders be Loaded Up on the Thule ReVert Bike Rack

Question:

I just received the rack and when I opened the instructions it appears to say on page 5 that it will not work with bikes with fenders. Is this true? Do you have a hitch mount rack for 4 bikes that works with city bikes with fenders?

Hey Bill, thanks for reaching out!

I looked at the instructions for the Thule ReVert Bike Rack # TH73VA, and it does look like they exclude bikes with fenders from their fitments, so we'll need to look at a different solution. And for that, I recommend the Hollywood Racks Sport Rider SE # HR1400Z.

The Sport Rider SE is one of my favorite bike racks because it's compatible with a wide variety of bike styles. It uses frame-mount hooks so nothing is comping in contact with your fenders and can carry up to 50 lb bikes in each tray. Another positive of this over the ReVert is that you aren't having to lift your bikes as high to get them loaded up.

Hey Bill, how did the Hollywood Racks Sport Rider SE work out with your city bikes that have fenders? Your update could make it easier for others trying to carry similar bikes.
