Is there a Noticeable Difference in Brightness Between a 48 Diode Light and 68 Diode Light
Question:
I have a 2005 Airstream 25 ft Safari. Two of the LED taillights are out. This items seems like it will fit, but I noticed that my existing has 68 LEDs on it instead of the 48 with your STL70RB. I have not been able to find one with 68 LEDs, and was wondering if yours will work ok, without any noticeable difference in brightness . I could not find a part number on my light, only number on there is 1204, which I thought might be the mfg. date.

The more LEDs you have the brighter the light will be. There may not be much visible difference in the day but at night it will likely be noticeable. If you switch one light to # STL70RB you would want to change the other side too to keep things the same in terms of light output and overall appearance. I have linked a video showing the # STL70RB lit up.
Not being able to find a number on a tail light is common. In those situations you would want to go by the dimensions of the light and how it mounts. LED tail light # STL70RB is 6-1/2 inches across, 2-1/4 inches tall, and 1-1/8 inches deep and it is a flush mount light.
