Question:

Which Alpha rv roof sealant would you recommend for a rubber type roof. It’s on a 2022 RPod. I heard it has to breathe so a silicone product is not recommended. Also which liquid roof coating product do you recommend?

Hey Rodney,

For a rubber roof you can use the Alpha Systems 1021 Self-Leveling Sealant for RVs # AL98KV. This is self-leveling sealant so it's design to pool a bit before drying and would only be good for use on the roof. If you're needing any sealant to put on the walls you'll want to switch to their non-sag sealant # AL43KV.

As for the roof coating, you'll want the Alpha Systems 4034 Roof Coating for RV Roofs - 1 Gallon # AL34CV. You will need to clean and prime your roof prior to putting down the coating.
