2025 Hyundai Santa Cruz factory tow harness plug doesn't have voltage, how do I activate it?
Question:
Ive heard of some owners saying that the factory plug at the back isnt live and doesnt have the proper voltage sometimes for this tow harness. Is that true?

Hey Jake, that is a good question. I did some research to figure out what you're referring to, and I came to the conclusion that sometimes Hyundai has duplicates of these factory plugs (one on the driver side, and one on the passenger side). The one on the driver side is typically the one that has the proper voltage and should be what you want to plug into, while the passenger side is not typically activated if that makes sense. I linked an installation video which shows this plug on the left driver side, and I attached a photo to show this plug. I also verified that the Tekonsha T-One Tow Wiring Harness # 118784 is confirmed to fit your 2025 Hyundai Santa Cruz.
