Is There a Trailer Hitch for a 2021 BMW 750i

Updated 10/31/2025 | Published 02/24/2025

Question:

I have a 2021 BMW 750i and need a trailer hitch installed on the car to fit a bike rack. None of the area hitch installers can find one to fit the vehicle. Do you all do custom hitches? Thank you.

Hey Jay, thanks for reaching out!

In order to get a hitch installed on your 2021 BMW 750i you're going to need to have a shop fabricate something for you. We don't do fabrications, and we unfortunately don't have any trailer hitches custom made to fit your vehicle.

If you aren't able to find a shop that's willing to do that kind of work, then I recommend looking at an alternative method for transporting your bike(s) like the Yakima FullBack trunk mount rack that comes in 2-Bike # Y02634 and 3-Bike # Y02633 configurations.

Let me know if the trunk mount route doesn't sound like something you're interested in, and I'd be more than happy to look at roof mount options if you let me know what bike(s) you have!

Hey Jay, did you end up trying the Yakima FullBack trunk rack for your BMW 750i? Your experience could point others in the right direction if they’re facing the same hitch issue.

@JonG No, because these bikes are e-bikes, and they each weigh a little over 60 lbs. Just a little too much for that kind of rack. Thanks,

@JayN Ah, that stinks. Do you have any other vehicle you can use to transport the bikes?

@JonG No, both are cars are BMW's and we have checked with multiple larger companies along with small, local welders, etc, and no one has been able to help us. However, we just moved to The Villages in Florida, and golf carts are the primary mode of transportation here. So ultimately I may trade my vehicles on a Bronco, or something along those lines, that will have a trailer hitch. Till then we will just ride our bikes here in this community, and that is actually plenty for us. Thanks,
