Question:
I have an old stock trailer that I need to replace bearings on. How do I find info on what bearing I need? I do want bearings with zerk fittings for easy maintenance

Hey Kyle, thanks for reaching out. Since it is an old trailer, the best way to go about this will be to pull one of the hubs and remove the bearings. There is no way to look up your trailer to find bearing info. Each bearing should have a number stamped on the edge, or you can measure the ID of each bearing with a micrometer. Also measure the OD and ID of the grease seal. A lot of times these older trailers use odd/obsolete bearing combinations, so we will need to know exactly what bearings you are working with. Hopefully we will have a bearing kit for you, so drop that info in a comment below, and we can take it from there.

Hey Kyle, were you able to pull the hub and find the bearing numbers or measurements on your stock trailer? Once you had that info, did you find a bearing kit that matched up? Your update could make it easier for others working on older trailers.
