Question:

I need a tow hitch for a 2001 gmc cutaway school bus. Class IV or V: gross tongue weight 1000lbs+ Frame rails 36-42 “ID-OD Goal carry 600lbs motorcycle on back. Can’t quite send to find an exact match. Well you Be able to help me?

Hey Jonathon, for an application like that you'd want a Draw Tite hitch like the part # 41990-07 which has 7 inch drop brackets or the part # 41990-16 which has 16 inch drop brackets. This is a higher capacity hitch with side brackets that can be welded in place at the correct width to fit your frame. Beyond that we don't have anything designed specifically for this type of application.
