Companion Hitch Recommendation for 2024 Ford F-250 with OEM Pucks and 2024 Grand Design 298BH

I have a 2024 f250 short bed factory puck system. Will be getting a 2024 grand design 298BH with curt turning point pin box. I would like to use the turn point for better cap clearance as a have a hard driveway to get into. Would this b and w hitch be best choice, if so what wedge would be best to use with it? Is there a less expensive fifth-wheel hitch and wedge you would recommend?

Hey Jeff, so since you have the underbed pucks in your 2024 Ford F-350 you'd want the Companion hitch part # BWRVK3300 that fits them directly. The Patriot hitch is designed to fit above bed style rails and would not be correct. This hitch will work great with your Turning Point pin box and all you'd need is the wedge kit part # SWW-06 and you'd be set as this is what locks out the hitch to the pin box.
There are less expensive hitches out there that would work but the Companion hitches are really well made and easy to use. If you are planning on towing a lot this would for sure be what you'd want. But if not, let me know what your budget is and I can see what would be best in that range.
