Will Curt Hitch C22UR Interfere With Liftgate Sensor On 20235 Toyota Sienna Platinum

Hello, I have a 2025 Sienna Platinum. When installing this hitch, will the trunk opening function be lost when passing the foot under the bumper?

Hello Jorge, thanks for reaching out, and congrats on the new Sienna! The Curt Class 3 Hitch # C22UR is the correct fit for your 2025 Toyota Sienna Platinum. The hitch will partially block the liftgate sensor, but it will still function. Basically the receiver blocks the area directly under it, so what you can do it wave your foot on either side of the receiver to get the sensor to activate. It may take a few tries to find the "sweet spot" to get it to activate, but once you find the spot, you will be able to open it every time. So the sensor will still work, it will just work a little bit differently.
