Will the Ranch Hitch Universal 5th-Wheel-to-Gooseneck Coupler Adapter Fit a Recessed Well?

Will this 8 inch offset fit wheel to gooseneck converter work on a hide away recessed ball on short flatbed?

It might but it's going depend on the depth and width of your Silverado's recessed well. The Ranch Hitch Universal 5th-Wheel-to-Gooseneck Coupler Adapter item # AM3139 requires a circular area of at least 5-5/8" around the ball for clearance. Then from the bottom of the coupler to the horizontal arm on the Ranch Hitch there is a distance of 4-3/4". If your gooseneck ball is recessed more than this height then it won't work.
