Question:

SW2008 in the installation instructions, it shows 5ft wire for front and 19 ft wire for rear? is this correct? Im wanting quick connect wiring for front of vehicle and rear of vehicle, as well as to mount on the winch to connect to the wiring. also is the rear mounting long enough for a crew cab short bed f250? and in your instructions you show it wired direct to the battery, my winch came with a circuit breaker that is supposed to be inline with the power. Im installing this on a 2010 f250 diesel with dual battery and want to be sure to order the correct part/parts

I spoke with my contact at Superwinch about installing a front and rear quick connect on your 2010 Ford F-250 Crew Cab. The Trailer and Vehicle Electric Winch Wiring Kit, part # BDW20207, is intended to be for the rear quick connection on your truck for the winch. The 24 ft of wire should be enough for your truck. On the installation you will run the positive line from the quick connect to the circuit breaker you said came with your winch. To secure the quick connect to the rear of your truck I recommend a no-drill bracket like part # C57202.

For the front of your truck you will want to use the Front Vehicle Electric Winch Wiring Harness, part # BDW20205. This will be wired in a similar manner as the quick connect on the rear. You will want to attach another circuit breaker for the front quick connect in the same manner as you do for the rear. These will be mounted between the quick connect and the positive side of the battery.

As they show in the attached video, I recommend 1/2 inch wire loom, part # 459075-1, to help avoid areas that may cause damage when running the wires.
