Question:
I have a 1997 f350 diesel. It currently has a Tekonsha 2030 mark12 that I don’t think works anymore. I am wondering what controller I can replace that with that can be an “easy” swap. Thanks.

Hey Tyler! The best replacement for a Tekonsha 2030 mark12 is going to be the Tekonsha Primus IQ Trailer Brake Controller item # TK90160. This is our most cost effective proportional controller that is still good quality and reliable. I've had one of these in my truck for almost 15 years and it's still going strong. It'll be super easy for you to set up too.
The Primus IQ item # TK90160 will apply trailer brakes at the same time and with the same intensity as you hit the brakes in your truck. It has a digital display and 3 levels of boost preset for braking strength.

Hey Tyler, how did things go with the Tekonsha Primus IQ in your F350? Did the swap from the old controller go as smoothly as expected? Your update could make it easier for others replacing older Tekonsha units.
