The mounting holes of the Hopkins Endurance Quick-Install 7-Way Trailer Connector # HM40940 are spaced 1-1/2" horizontally and 2-1/4" vertically. This would be a replacement for a factory Ford 7-way connector and would simply connect to the factory connector for a fast and easy install. Hey T, how did the fit work out with the Hopkins 7-way trailer connector using those bolt measurements? Knowing what worked might help someone else replacing their factory connector.
