Was wondering about the minimum clearence required for the micro-convection oven High Pointe HP99ZR

Hey Steve,

The High Pointe Built-In RV Convection Microwave # HP99ZR requires a cutout hole 22-7/16" wide x 15-3/16" tall x 19-1/4" deep. This unit comes with a trim ring (24" wide x 16.75" tall) to cover the gap between the cutout hole and microwave. Do you know the model number of your current unit you're trying to replace or the dimensions of the space you have available?

I know the physical dimensions needed, I was wondering about clearence for heat dispursion from the convection oven, Thanks Steve M

@Steven The instructions list a 3" minimum clearance when sitting on a counter but nothing for a cabinet mount. Generally you'll need about 2"-3" on the sides and 3" minimum in the back for most cabinet mounted microwaves.
