Recommended Gen-Y Hitch Shock Absorbing 5th Wheel Pin Box for an 1116 Bolt Pattern

Question:

Which Gen-Y pin box do I need to replace the Lippert Road armor pin box I have on my 2019 Montana 3121RL? Is this the correct one? No model numbers on my current pin box. Here is what the sticker has on it. RPO - 0001522719 SER - S002164688 LCI Item - 689853 Thank you

Hey David, thanks for the information! Your 2019 Keystone Montana 3121RL has an 1116 pin box. To replace it you will want the Gen-Y Hitch Shock Absorbing 5th Wheel Pin Box item # GY45SR.

@JerredH The Gen-Y pin box has worked out great. Night and day difference while towing. For this set up on our Montana I did need the spacer kit to fit the frame correctly and I bought the replacement bolts as well. After our first short trip as a test ride I did have to re-torque the bolts, I also checked those after a few subsequent trips just to verify and everything seems good. With this pin box there's a lot less chucking and bucking than the factory pin box, the ride has been smoother and less items loose or flying around in the RV while traveling. I combined the Gen-Y pin box with the Road armor suspension this year and the ride has been great. We've put about 4k miles on this set up and couldn't be happier.
