Question:
I am looking to add Airlift Wireless One Compressor 25989EZ and 7500 XL bags to my 2025 GMC Sierra 2500 HD Denali Duramax. I use this truck to haul 75 gallons of gas in a bed transfer tank while towing a 26foot wake boat weighing in at a hefty 11K. I am concerned about the recommended mounting location as this could be submerged on shallow boat ramps. Is there an alternative mountain location you recommend for boat owners? Additionally, would you recommend the dual-line compressor and the 5000 bags for this application? I want to keep the stock ride when they are aired down.

Hey Drip, thanks for reaching out!
The recommended mounting location for a compressor is just to give a good idea for anyone who hasn't done this before or just isn't sure. In all honesty you can install the Air Lift WirelessONE Compressor System # AL25980EZ where you want on your 2025 GMC Sierra 2500 just as long as it can reach the Air Lift LoadLifter 7500 XL Air Helper Springs # AL57541.
Keeping the compressor out of the water is ideal so it's good that's already on your radar. I've had people in the past ask if it can be mounted inside the cab and while this technically can be done, the compressor will be much too loud so I don't recommend placing it there.
What you might try doing is mounting the compressor inside your engine bay area. It's a little different, but that will ensure the compressor is out of the elements and not getting submerged like it will under your vehicle. There aren't any specifics when it comes to mounting it there so you'll just need to find the best place and go for it.
We did get a chance to install the 7500 air bag kit on a 2024 GMC Sierra 2500 so I'm linking that installation video as well as a photo of the finished product for you to check out.

Hey Drip, how did things go mounting the Air Lift compressor on your Sierra? I'm curious if the engine bay setup kept it clear of water when launching your boat. Your results could help other boat owners looking for a similar solution.
