How to Unlock Yakima HoldUp Bike Rack When Keys are Lost

Question:
I have a Yakima Hold Up bike rack I bought from you a while back ago and I lost the keys. The bike rack is on the car and I lost the keys. They key to the hitch and the keys to the cables on the bike rack. Do you have a replacement?

Hey Mike,
We do have replacement keys for your Yakima HoldUp Bike Rack # Y02443. What is the number on your lock cores? It would have been on the face of the keys you received and written down on the instructions once you received the rack. If you can let me know what you have, I can help you filter through our linked selection
If you forgot to record the key numbers (which, let's be honest, most people forget to do that) then your next best bet is to see if you have a local bike shop that deals with Yakima products because they should have all sorts of keys and can help you get it unlocked - just be sure to record the number they used to unlocked the rack.
The last resort would be to drill the core out yourself, or have a locksmith come out and take care of it for you, and then we can get you set up with new lock cores and keys.
