Does The Aluminum Eagle Trailer Wheel LH67VR Have A Max PSI Rating?

Updated 01/02/2025 | Published 12/17/2024

Question:

Im interested in knowing what the max PSI that can be run on these wheels. I would like to run G rated tires @ their max PSI which is 110. I know I need to get the appropriate valves for them, but will this wheel be appropriate with a PSI of 110.

Hey Eric, thanks for getting in touch. The Aluminum Eagle Trailer Wheel # LH67VR itself does not have a max PSI rating. The max PSI for the wheel is determined by the valve stem which in the case of the # LH67VR wheel is a rubber valve stem rated for 80 PSI.

You can absolutely still use this wheel with 110 PSI tires, you simply need to replace the rubber valve stems with the metal valve stem part # AM20906 which is rated for over 110 PSI. The wheel can handle the max PSI of any 16" trailer tire so just swap the valve stems and you will be good to go.

Thank you Jesse, that was very helpful. The last piece of info that I can't seem to locate is the valve stem hole size for the 16" x 6" wheel. I saw you provided metal valve stems that would work, but I am considering the TireMinder internal TPMS for my next setup. They have a 1.2" internal sensor, but from what I can tell it only comes in 0.453" rim hole compatibility. Thanks.
