16" x 7" Trailer wheel has an 8 on 6-1/2 bolt pattern and a 4.88" pilot diameter. Rustproof aluminum wheel has an 8-spoke split design in matte black.
Features:
Specs:
This aluminum wheel comes with steel inserts in the lug nut wells. The inserts are pressed into the aluminum, and they help prevent the holes from wearing down over time. This ensures that the wheel stays secured to your trailer hub and that you won't have to constantly retorque the lug nuts.
Determining the Bolt Pattern
The first number in the bolt pattern is the number of bolt holes. The second number denotes the diameter, in inches, of the circle on which the bolt holes sit.
To determine the bolt-circle diameter on wheels with an odd number of bolt holes, measure from the center of any bolt hole to the point halfway between the two bolt holes directly across from the first. (Example: "5 on 4-1/2" means 5 bolt holes with 4-1/2" measured to a point halfway between the opposite bolt holes.)
On wheels with an even number of bolt holes, measure from the center of one bolt hole to the center of the hole directly across from it. (Example: "8 on 6-1/2" means 8 bolt holes with 6-1/2" from the center of one hole to the center of another on the opposite side.)
Measuring the distance from the center of one bolt hole on the wheel to the center of a bolt hole right next to it can also help to determine the bolt pattern.

Hello everybody, this is Jeff at etrailer.com. Today we're gonna take a look at this Lionshead, 16 inch by 7 inch, Matte Black Eagle Aluminum Trailer Wheel with the eight on six and a half inch bolt pattern. Now this is an aluminum wheel. It's durable, lightweight, rust proof. We mentioned it's an Eagle Series, which you can see is a split eight spoke design, has a complete matte black finish on the wheel. They do use an automotive grade clear coat finish on the front to protect from scuffs and scratches.
Now, one of the nice features I like on this wheel is the pressed in steel inserts in the lug nut wells because they're designed to help keep the wheel securely in place on your trailer hub. Basically what happens is when you put this up on the hub, your studs come through here, put your lug nuts on, torque 'em down, when you torque 'em down, these steel inserts in here prevent these holes from elongating or wearing down over time. So eliminates the need for constant re-tightening of your lug nuts. The valve stem right over here, it is included. It is a metal valve stem and it is pre-installed into the wheel.
Now the center cap is not included. We do sell those separately if you do want a center cap. You do wanna make sure to get a center cap that'll have the same diameter as this pilot hole 'cause when you install the center cap, it will go through the back of the wheel through this hole. So the diameter on this pilot hole is 4.88 inches. This wheel does meet the DOT, Department of Transportation, specifications and the SAEJ 1204 standards.
A few dimensions on this we're gonna measure is the diameter and the width and the diameter on a wheel when you measure it is always inside to inside. So to give you an idea, we have a tape measure here and you can see, if I go inside to inside, there you can see is your 16 inch diameter. The width on the wheel, you'll measure the same way, it's inside to inside or bead seat to bead seat, seven inches for the width. And the bolt pattern on this wheel we mentioned is an eight on six and a half inch bolt pattern. And if you we inchesre to measure that on a wheel that's an even number of lugs, like in this case eight, it's pretty easy because the lug holes are directly across from each other.
So it makes it easy to measure the bolt pattern. You just pick any hole, let's say this one, measure from the center of this hole directly across to the center of the hole right across from it. On this, it'll measure six and a half inches. So that's gonna tell you this is an eight lug, six and a half inch bolt pattern. Does use a wheel lug size of a half inch by 20 or nine sixteenths by 18, and the weight capacity on this wheel is 4,080 pounds. But that's gonna do it for a look at this Lionshead, 16 inch by 7 inch Matte Black Eagle Aluminum Trailer Wheel with the eight on six and a half inch bolt pattern.
