How to Adapt Signature Series 5th Wheel to 2024 Ford F-250 With Prep Package

Question:
I have an older signature series 16k fifth wheel hitch with a slide that was installed on a 2004 ford F250 with the Elite under bed rail mount. I recently upgraded my truck to a 2024 F250 with the OEM under bed mount and I would like to use my old hitch. Do I just need to install the RP58419 kit on my old fifth wheel usable with the new OEM mount?

Hi Roger,
Yes, you are correct. Adding the Reese Signature Series Hitch Adapter for Elite Series Bed Rails # RP58419 to your Signature Series 5th wheel hitch will allow you to install it in the pucks on your 2024 F-250. Since you have the slider you will use the original OEM installed handles. You do not need to use the handles from this kit.
