Will this work for the factory installed Morryde step? Mine has the gas struts but no latch.

Hey Roger,
Yes, the Replacement Step Latch for MORryde Step Above RV Steps # MR97BR would be a fit for a MORryde StepAbove RV Step with gas strut assist. The normal latch for the these style steps just doesn't have the latching mechanism and relies on the struts to hold it into the door frame so this will be slightly different since you'll need to pull the latch lever when lowering the steps down. This will bolt on the exact same way as the original bracket and has slots to so that you can adjust it to fit your door frame width.
