Hey Alyssa! The LockRack Series-X Universal Adjustable Watersport Carrier item # LR24VR attaches to roof racks so you will definitely need one of those on your Jeep. If you have the hardtop with the rain gutters you can use the Thule WingBar Evo Roof Rack for Rain Gutters item # TH48ZA to attach the carrier.
