Question:

Hi, I have a 2003 Chevy S10 2.2 rear wheel drive and Im trying to add a trailer brake, I currently dont have anything connected but from my understanding I can use a flat four pin and convert it to a 7 way RV round plug that way I have trailer lights trailer signal left and right and then also electric brake the main thing thats not pre-wired for this truck is the electric brake theres a plug under it already but when you go to the four pin flat its only doing the signals and brake lights and running lights I believe so I need to get the electric brake wired in for this trailer. Using that rv7 round plug thanks

Marco, it sounds like all you need then is the Universal Installation Kit for Trailer Brake Controller # ETBC7. This kit will connect to the existing 4-pole and tees off to connect to a trailer brake controller like the Tekonsha Prodigy P3 Trailer Brake Controller # 90195.
