Does etrailer Carry Generator Slide Out Tray for 38" Wide x 24" long Generator

Question:

Looking for a slide out rack for my Onan QG6500 generator. The generator compartment is located at the front of my Pinnacle 5th wheel RV, dimensions: 38w x 24d x 21h My generator dimensions are: 34w x 22d x 17h. The generator weight is 300lbs

Hi Dan; none of our actual generator slide out trays with the metal floor and 100% extension are large enough to handle that generator. A slide out tray like the # MR43ZV you looked at would allow it to fit but I don't think the carpeted wood floor is the best idea for a generator assuming you want to actually use it while it is on the tray.

Yeah, that is what I thought. Thanks for confirming. I will build one and you guys can sell it! Am I the only RV owner with this application or have you seen similar requests from others?

@DanC I have run across similar requests for larger trays before but not often. There may be some out there since it is a big industry but it isn't something that we carry. I'm pretty sure there are some 5th wheels that come with larger slide-out trays from the factory since I have had questions asking for a replacement but I'm not entirely sure. Brands also come and go so it could be a manufacturer that is no longer around.
