How to Find Replacement Axle for 2019 Heartland Wilderness Travel Trailer

Question:

Hi, I’m looking for an axle for my 2019 Heartland wilderness travel trailer. I would like a complete set with ez lube and brakes. What axles would be a good fit? Thank you so much.

Hi John; to find a replacement axle for your 2019 Heartland Wilderness Travel Trailer you will have to identify your current axle. We don't have a way of knowing what axle is on what trailer outside of a few specific brands that list their parts. The information you need to find is the capacity and the length and the best place to look is the axle tag. If you can get the serial number off of the axle tag the manufacturer can identify it.

The capacity, as well as the length, are often listed on the tag as well. If you can only find the capacity then you will also need to measure to get the length.. I went ahead and attached a video below which shows how to measure. Once you get this information feel free to add it in the comments below and I'll see if we have a replacement available.

Hey John, were you able to find the axle tag or get the serial number from your Heartland Wilderness trailer? Once you had that info, did you figure out which axle matched up best? Your update could make it easier for others trying to track down the right replacement.

@RobinH Thanks RobinH for getting back with me. I was able to get the original tag from the original axle. I was able to get the new axle number from the old tag from a local company. The old axles where discontinued. I was able to order the axles from the company and get them on the trailer. What's interesting the new axle outer shaft was smaller than the old ones.
