TorkLift Tie-Downs for 2025 GMC Sierra 3500 Dually With Built-In Step on Truck Bed

Updated 11/17/2025 | Published 11/17/2024

Question:

Hi there. I have a 2025 Sierra 3500 dually with an 8' bed and the factory hitch. There are running boards but they don't extend under the bed of the truck. I also have a step built into the front corner of the bed. Will TorkLift tie-downs fit with this step? Which ones do I need? Will I be able to access the fuel door?

Hi there Todd; the correct tie-downs for your 2025 Sierra 3500 dually are the TorkLift Tie Downs - Custom Frame Mount # TL94PR. If you take a look at the installation video below you will see these can be installed with that built-in step.

The tie-downs won't interfere with the fuel door but, turnbuckles tend to run right over the door making it difficult to access. The best solution is to use the TorkLift Locking FastGun Turnbuckles # TLS9529-2-LK. These are really easy to install and remove so getting to your fuel door becomes a simple task.

Hey Todd, how did the TorkLift tie-downs work out with the built-in step on your Sierra? Were the FastGun turnbuckles as easy to remove for fueling as expected? Your update could make it easier for others setting up a similar truck.
