Suspension Enhancement to Help With Heavy Slide-Out on 2025 East to West Entrada 3100FB

Updated 11/18/2024 | Published 11/13/2024

Question:

I have a 2025 Entrada 3100FB Class C RV on a E450 It has a full slide out on the drivers side. The rv leans toward the driverside. Would I need air bags or other recommendation to help with this lean. Thank you

Hi Kevin; it looks like your 2025 Entrada 3100FB is built on an E-450 chassis. Air bags would be the best option since you have the most control with side to side leveling. The correct air bags would be the Firestone Ride-Rite Air Helper Springs # F22ZR. You will probably want a dual path air compressor like the # AL74000EZ to go with them so you can adjust the air bags wherever you go with the motorhome.

If you want an option that doesn't require adjustments or maintenance you can use the SumoSprings Maxim Custom Helper Springs # SSR-106-47-1. These have a 5,000 lb capacity just like the air bags and a bolt-on installation. Once you install them you won't have to mess with them anymore. The SumoSprings work independently and have progressive load control so they will level out the heavy side with your slide-out and still give an appropriate amount of support on the side without one.

I checked the Firestone website and they listed a different part number kit# 2622 product # w217602622 Also mentioned on their website that this is a no drill kit. This is not the same part number you suggested for my 2025 class c rv. Please advise.

@KevinB F22ZR is our part number. If you scroll down on the product page you will see W217602622 Firestone Ride Rite Air Bags - Suspension Kit - Double Convoluted - Rear Axle - Single Rear Wheel Trucks 2622. It is the same thing.
