Can this latch be opened from the inside if the outside has been locked?

Hi Jake; yes, the Locking Paddle Handle w/ Internal Release # PLR5115 can be opened from the inside when it is locked. There is a small plunger that is depressed when you use the internal release that will allow it to open. This does not engage when you're using the external handle so it remains locked.
