Will The Curt Echo Remember Brake Profile When Switched To a Different Vehicle?

Question:
About the Curt Echo brake controller. I understand that it continues working if it loses connection to my phone and will continue using the settings from the last time it had connectivity. Does it remember the settings after the vehicle is turned off? FOR INSTANCE, what if I loan it to a friend to use that doesnt have the phone app or doesnt want to use an app .... will the controller remember the settings from the last time I had it on my vehicle? Or does it go to default settings ? thanks for your help

With connecting the Curt Echo # C51180 to a different vehicle and trailer it will not have a profile set up for that combination and therefore the controller will not just continue to work. The feature on the Echo which remembers the brake setup is designed to work until the Echo loses power such as turning the vehicle off or moving to a different vehicle.
